As we’re coming up on our second year of Perfectly Pinay, I’ve reflected on how much we’ve transformed as a community and as a business. Through countless trials and errors, I’ve discovered that one element remained the same: my love for art and connection.
Moving forward, I’ll be focusing more on building our community (both virtually and in person) through our blog, sharing original art pieces, and journaling campaigns. Starting in November, our in person markets will focus on sharing more art prints, journaling accessories, and reflection tools rather than apparel and drinkware.
During this new phase of Perfectly Pinay, I want to embrace vulnerability and authenticity. I want to tap into my most raw form of creativity and share pieces that start discussions and allow folks to feel, heal, and grow.
With this reflection came the birth of our new chapter: Rooted in Love. Rooted in Love is an empowerment statement that reminds me that love is what grounds me and sustains me.
When faced with adversity, if I remember my roots and the fact that I'm surrounded by love, I can overcome whatever challenges come my way. I’m so excited to embark on this journey with you all.
